Today, I went to an historical rally organized in France " La coupe des Alpes".
The cars go from Megeve to Cannes and they had a checkpoint not far from my home!

Awesome cars , here are the best : Mercedes 300SL coupe, 300SL x3 , Lamborghini 350GT, Lancia Stratos x3 including that one, Ferrari Daytona, BB512i, Porsche 959, Peugeot 205 T16 and many more!

Here is the first pic!

one of my favorates, most people don't really know that Lancia has the most WRC monticarlo wins, EIGHT, EIGHT wins, in the same course, no other manufacturer has that title in rally racing!

Great photo of a car that'd eventually become a rally legend.

I feel so bad for those 300SL's, many never get driven anymore. Look for the video called "Poetry In Motion" for a great short about a 300SL that still sees plenty of driving.

During that day, I saw 4 300SL and they were well driven^^
And during the last two months, I've also seen 2 roadster in Monaco ;)

Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look!

You always seem to capture these excellent images, if you don't mind me asking how much post production goes into your shots?

You mean processing on software?
Well I use Lightroom to process my raw files, but it really depends on the picture.
For that Stratos, only a few seconds, time to adjust the contrast and luminosity ;)

But for some pictures ( such as the last McLaren F1 ) I try different types of things, remove it, change it, adjust it...It can take me almost an hour to have a picture I like :D

Awesome thanks man, just what I wanted to know. Your pictures always have this great vibrancy to it and your exposure is always spot on. I haven't player with luminosity in Lightroom yet, maybe I should.

Thanks for the insights and keep up the excellent work!
