Awesome shot! Great car and shot in a very artistic way. Definitely part of my favorites (and you know that I don't fav every single shot of you, so this is a clear message ).
First, let me say that this is a beautiful and striking capture, awesomely done. Next, while I love the Viper, I would not want to be that driver. The Viper is squirrely on dry pavement, can you imagine it on ice? I have a friend that works for Transport Canada (Government of Canada) and I can't remember if it was in 2004 but it was around that year, the statistical average life of a Dodge Viper in Canada was under 6 OH (hours of operation), in many cases people were wrecking them on the way home from the dealerships. I'm surprised that we don't see more of them as drift cars, when they were racing ALMS at Mosport they regularly oversteered around the corners at turns 5a and 5b. I'll see if I can't find some pics and post them.
True, but even experts have a hard time with the Viper (a couple examples: [link] , [link] ). It is a fast car, but needs to be driven a certain way, and when pushed requires more attention than some. I've seen countless Vipers in the marbles at turn 5 at Mosport, probably one of the more common ones.
Yeah, my 911 is like that, tail heavy most of the time, but accelerate to abruptly entering a corner and it will understeer. I suspect steering feedback varies according to what wheels/tire combo you have up front.
