This is great. I googled other pictures of the car, and one was a screenshot from this video: [link] It's from exactly the same place as your shot. I'm pretty sure you (taking the picture) are even in the video at 0:37.
Well, I'm not strictly against this modification. I like the rear part, I'd say it is nicely done, but what's the problem is the front. As I see it, they should left alone the side vents (the carbon inside looks horrible, and they're also shaped very, very badly), small vents next to the lamps look cheap as hell (also, the stock were better), nose is too long and it's line coming all across the bonnet - bad shape again. The carbon fibre intakes down on the bumper look also very cheap, why not to integrate to the rest of the bumper? And the biggest NO - F1 style splitter in the headlamps level and ...ugh... LEDs. Too much small carbon parts on the front and in the wrong places.
obviously mansory isnt known for their subtelty, but if i worked for pininfarina i would be pissed about what they had done to this car. taking the stock 458 body, which happens to be my second favorite ferrari design of the last 20 years (the 599 being #1) and turning it into something that should have a big dragon sticker down the side and a big two tier wing is just blasphemy. good thing i saw the ccxr photo first so i could quickly forget about this car.
