With some friends who had the same hobby for photography we often went outside to take our car in photo, try new stuff, improve our skills. You don't need a Ferrari or whatever to make a beautiful picture
Then, I went to a small gathering near my town, with some classic french cars, and sometimes a Ferrari or a Porsche.
My first "photoshooting" experience was with a Porsche...The owners, especially for the "old" models (3.2l, 964 and so on) are people who have a great passion for their car, if you show them great picture, even with a "boring" car, they sure will share that passion with you, and maybe you'll have your first experience too
And I'm sure there are great cars in NZ, I recently saw some pics of McLaren F1 & One-77 registered there^^
And an important thing to find owners/gatherings near you is to follow some websites and forum regularly,such as "ferrarichat" and "teamspeed", or maybe you'll find some NZ club on the internet
Your pictures are always a joy to come across and I'd love to be able to share that same joy with other people, so I certainly have some research to do.
I really don't have much else to say I really appreciate the advice and feed back more than words can describe.
