That's a lovely colour. I saw a Europa SE in that sort of red the other day though and it looked stunning in it although I'm not totally convinced it suits the series 1 elise. I'm not biased just because my own 111S is LRG (a metallic racing green), I promise .
This was the first time I saw that color on a Lotus, and I have to admit that I love it! I saw you car in you gallery, it's truly beautiful! I'm not a fan of green colors ( such as Viper green on Porsche, Krypton green on Lotus or Verde Ithaca on Lambo) but your "english green" is the idea of the perfect green I have for english cars
When I was looking to buy an elise I had a preference for "azure blue" - I really wasn't sure about green. When I saw my elise for sale though it was perfect in every other way, so I decided I'd try the colour and see how I got on with it and it's grown on me . I think part of the problem is that it can be very tricky to capture in a photograph how the paint looks to the eye, especially with metallics. So in all the slightly-rubbish advert photos of elises that I looked at, the green didn't look very good but the azure blue looked great - seeing the green for real though, it looks much better. I think you've done a fantastic job of capturing the red of that elise!
Great shot, anyway
