Actually I do believe the Viper had the engine first, then put it in the truck.

it was supposed to be a truck engine option through mopar, then became a car of epic proportions.

Oh. Well, Thank you for correcting me. I have always thought the Viper's engine was made for the Viper itself, then put in a Ram. Sorry if I sounded totally a dumb.
